Maccabi’s Response to Recent Reports: “Ohayon has a contract with the team.”

Club management released a statement regarding recent reports of Maccabi player Yogev Ohayon signing with a Russian team: “The player is under contract with Maccabi. If it becomes clear he has made such a deal, we will respond with all means at our disposal.”

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s management responded to recent reports: “To our surprise, we read today
in the media reports stating that Yogev Ohayon has made a deal with Lokomotiv Kuban of Russia.
The player is under contract with Maccabi and has never made an official approach to us on this
matter. It is difficult for us to believe that these reports are accurate, but if it becomes clear that the
player has made such a deal, we will respond with all means at our disposal.”
