Anthony Parker was elected best foriegn player in Europe in a poll conducted by French Magazine "Basket News". Parker accumulated 383 pts ahead of Marcus Brown (CSKA Moscow) 351 & Lynn Greer (Slask Wroclaw) 218 pts. Maceo Baston is ranked 7th with 100 pts.
Two more Maccabi players are placed in the poll, Sarunas Jasikevecius is in second place of the best European player ranking with 361 pts ahead of Nikola Vujcic 218 pts. Top of the list is Arvydas Sabonis (Zalgiris Kaunas)) with 386 pts.
There are two more categories: Carlos Delfino (Skipper Bologna) is the best young (u.22) European player with 397 pts and Predrag Stojakovic (Sacramento Kings) is the bset European player in the NBA with 394 points.
