Today, 8 December, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv made their annual visit to the young patients at the Schneider Children's Medical Center in Petach Tikvah. The players and professional staff enjoyed visiting the children and bringing smiles to their faces. Maccabi didn't come empty-handed, either. They distributed Chanukah gifts to the children, and of course posed for lots of pictures!
Team captain Guy Pnini said of the visit, "It's such a pleasure to come here every year and try to bring cheer to these amazing kids. We might be sad or disappointed after a loss, but this here is real life, and it means the world to us to do something for them. I hope this tradition will always continue."
"I think this visit is one of the peak moments of the season for the team. Every year we come to the same department, and we do so with a lot of love. It brings us a lot of satisfaction. We love seeing the smiles of the children, and they warm our hearts more than anything else. Obviously, it's more fun to come after a victory, but activities like this one today put everything in perspective."
