Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, have skipped their daily basketball routine so they could visit the Schneider children's hospital located in Petah Tikva to give the kids a happy Hanukkah. The players alongside the coaching staff, the club's front office and the young sensation Adi Bity have visited in the different departments giving the kids various gifts as well as taking photos with them.

The club's marketing partners have joined to this great cause as they've made donations , FOX donated Sweatshirts, Domino's Pizza (meal vouchers), Frenchie real estate (dreidels), PMI (Albums and cards), caf? Greg (Cookies), Vered Levi (Cookies), representatives from the "Our Kids) association, and the club's store who also donated hats and posters.

Coach Neven Spahija: "I would say this is the true game of life, I'm very happy and proud as a coach to come here and put smiles on the children's faces as well as giving them the great hope to continue and fight for life. If I could I would replace my victories with victories of these children. It's very sad to see such young kids in this condition.

Nonetheless I am very happy to be a part of this initiative as a team, together with the players, it's a huge privilege for us to be here and give strength to the kids. This event is very important for the players and it teaches us a lot for the future".

Guy Goodes added: "Coming here and seeing young kids fighting for their lives surely putt things into perspective, we come here to strengthen the children as well as to make them happy and give them hope".

Norris Cole: "This day is all about the kids and their families, it's better to give than to receive, I'm happy that I was a part of this day alongside my teammates and the club. Giving back to these families who are going through tough times and seeing these smiles is something special, it's without a doubt much more important than basketball. It shows me how blessed I am, and you learn to be strong, there's always going to be someone who's experiencing tougher times than me so I always try to help, in a day like this as well with the team and that's what makes it so special".
