Encouraged by their performance in game 1, Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv traveled to Ness Ziona to try and take a 2:0 lead in the series. The locals were focused at the beginning of the game as they finished the first quarter ahead. The lead changed hands numerous times during the game, Wyatt's three pointer with 10.2 seconds remaining in the game gave Ness Ziona the 95:94 win.
"Every playoff game has a different life and a new beginning" said Coach Spahija, "it looks like we didn't understand it well and 95 points is unacceptable, and we scored the same amount. Instead of 62 points they scored 95, I knew that they will make some extra shots they are an outstanding offensive team, something that really bothered me like the bad defense of our players like that we lost the focus in so many situations in the game. I’m gonna do my best to prepare my team for the game in Tel Aviv on Saturday, and I will criticize them for tonight's mistakes".
"We really wanted to win this one but came a little short" said Jake Cohen, "Khalif hit a big shot we got to give him credit for that, but we got a lot of mistakes to fix, that's the great thing about a series, we get to learn from our mistakes and comeback and try to win game three. It's hard to go undefeated, you're not going to win every game the other team is playing hard too and they have good players too, it's really simple to just say go win, Ness Ziona is not going to make that easy for us, we need to refocus I think we did a lot of things poorly tonight, and those are things we can easily fix and get better at and I think we can use our home crowd on Saturday to improve".
