Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv closed out the regular season with a 24:4 record after dropping a home game to Maccabi Rishon Le' Zion 77:86. The game didn't affect any teams' position in the standings as it was an insignificant match before the start of the playoffs. Maccabi's quarterfinals contestant (starting on Saturday evening) will be unveiled on Monday night as the bottom group will play their final fixture of the regular season. 

Yovel Zoosman was superb scoring 18 points & grabbing seven rebounds, Angelo Caloiaro added 16 points, and Deni Avdija finished the night with a double-double, scoring 15 points while grabbing 10 rebounds. 

"I want to congratulate Rishon for the win, they played better at the end. I think we had good moments until the fifteenth 20th minute. We weren't good at the beginning of the second half," Said head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos at the postgame press conference. "Our short roster, which included only three foreigners and playing three games this week, was the reason we didn't have energy in the final minutes to make the right decisions on offense and to be more aggressive on the defensive end. Quincy will start to practice, with the team this period, Tyler is coming out of quarantine as we still don't know Elijah's condition".



"We always strive to be the best we can be. We didn't succeed in the first and final quarter, but we will continue from here as the playoff looms", Told Dori Sahar to reporters after the defeat. "I'm not worried about this loss, I know all of us, including the coaching staff, will come with fire in our eyes to the playoffs trying to be the best we can". 

"The coaching staff and everyone behind the scenes deserves acknowledgment for their support plus granting me a chance to show my skills on the court. The coaches and my teammates give me a lot of confidence", Added Sahar about the opportunity that raised due to the latest conditions.
