Ami Biton is Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv basketball club's team manager. He grew up in Kiryat Motzkin and, even in his youth, volunteered to come to Tel Aviv and assist Maccabi in various logistic tasks.
Biton served as a supply and liaison officer in the Israeli military and, after concluding his service, worked in security (and even as a waiter abroad) before returning to Israel. In 2002 he began working at Maccabi officially.
He assisted former team managers Moni Fanan, Gur Shelef, and Nikola Vujcic and, since 2016, served as Maccabi's senior team manager.
Biton has a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.
