In the summer of 2022, Regev Fanan - one of the most identified characters with Maccabi Tel-Aviv, started his ninth season as the club's senior team fitness coach.
At the beginning of his career, Fanan worked as a coach for several women's basketball teams and also coached the Israeli women's national team for two years. He led the field of fitness and conditioning in the Yellows' youth department (and Israel's national youth team) and worked at Gilboa/Galil and Bnei Hasharon before returning to Maccabi's senior team.
Fanan (married plus three) is a graduate of the Coaches School at Wingate Institute and the "Siim" campus at Tel Aviv University.
