Jalen Adams was born on December 11, 1995 in Massachusetts, northeastern United States. After a short start in the ranks of South Florida, he was accepted into the successful basketball program of the University of Connecticut. In his last three college seasons, he averaged double figures and ranked 12th all-time among Huskies scorers, but was not drafted in the summer of 2019.
He was then signed to a short contract by New Orleans, after which he played for the Pelicans' G-League team. In the 2020/21 season, he played 7 games for Chalon from the French league and contributed 20.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3 assists per game. He then returned to the Erie Bayhawks from the G-League and in August of 2021 joined Jerusalem.
In the first game against Maccabi last season, he was held to 5 points, but in the second meeting he provided 26 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds and in the third round he scored 26 points again for the reds.
