בלאט יקבל את "עיטור הידידות" במוסקבה

מאמן מכבי אלקטרה ת"א, דיוויד בלאט, יקבל בפתיחת המשחק מול צסק"א את מדליית "עיטור הידידות" מטעם הפדרציה הרוסית, על תרומתו הגדולה לנבחרת הכדורסל של רוסיה.

ביום שישי, לפני שריקת הפתיחה למשחק בו תארח צסק"א מוסקבה את מכבי אלקטרה ת"א, יזכה מאמן מכבי דיוויד בלאט לכבוד גדול כאשר בטקס מיוחד יוענק לו "עיטור הידידות" מטעם הפדרציה הרוסית.
 
עיטור יוקרתי זה מוענק מטעם הממשלה לאזרחים רוסים וזרים על תרומה מיוחדת בתרבות וספורט שהביאה לשיתוף פעולה, אחווה וידידות בין העמים ושיפרה את החברה הרוסית. את העיטור לבלאט יעניק סרגיי איבאנוב, ראש הלשכה של נשיא רוסיה ולדימיר פוטין, ואחד האנשים החזקים ביותר כיום בממשל הרוסי.
 
בקיץ האחרון נודע שבלאט יזכה לכבוד זה, וכעת, כשהוא שב לרוסיה, יוענק לו העיטור בטקס חגיגי במוסקבה. בלאט אימן את נבחרת רוסיה בין השנים 2006 ו-2012 והוביל אותה להישגים אדירים, בראשם מדליית זהב באליפות אירופה 2007, מדליית ארד באולימפיאדת לונדון 2012 ומדליית ארד באליפות אירופה 2011.
