Maccabi had an account to settle with KK Zadar, who beat them 115-110 on the third day of the Adriatic League.
Gur Shelef & friends took care of it (87-71) with the help of Zadar who arrived in Tel Aviv without their top players Popovic & Perincic.
At half time Maccabi had a 36-27 lead. In the second half we saw a magnificent performance by Yoav Saffar who scored 26 of his total of 30 pts including 6-9 for three pointers. His final three was on the buzzer from almost the halfway line. He also had 6 rebounds & 2 assists.
