After a two and a half years retirement, Doron Sheffer made his comeback and played 15 minutes, had 1 assist, 1 steal , 2 rebounds and 1 blocked shot in Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv 76-69 win ove Galil Elyon.
Maccabi dominated the first half and held a 43-24 lead at half time. In the second, Galil exploited the fatigue of the Maccabi National Team players who were in action 24 hours earlier in the win over Romania. In the final minutes Galil came within five points (74-69), bur Derrick Sharp made sure of victory.
Nikola Vujcic was the best Maccabi player with 14 pts & 11 rbds. Sharp had 4 three pointers in his total of 14 points.
