The team returned from a successful weekend in Europe with wins over Buducnost & KK Zagreb, and found themselves at 56-56 at the end of the third period in Rishon Letsion. It took them two minutes to make a 10-0 run and Rishon had no answer to Maccabi’s defense. In seven minutes they scored only 1 point to Maccabi’s 20. Final score 81-66.
Maccabi led 26-17 at the end of the first quarter and led 43-36 at half time.
David Bluthenthal played an excellent game with 15 pts, 10 rbds and very food defense on Lucious Davis.
