Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv recorded its 14th win in the Goodyear League when they beat Pivovarna Lasko in front of 3,000 spectators in Yad Eliyahu.
Maccabi led 24-21 at the end of the first quarter and increased it to 47-35 at the half. Lasko reduced the score to 66-58 at the end of the third. Maccabi opened a 17 pts margin (82-65) in the final period but then the players lost concentration and allowed the Slovenians to come back to within five points.
Yoav Saffar led Maccabi with 16 pts & 4 rbds.
