Fourty eight hours after the impressive win over TAU Vitoria, David Blatt and his players returned to Yad Eliahu for the final home game in the Goodyear League. KK Split, without some of their leading players, were no match for Maccabi even without the injured Saffar & Udrih, who won 106-80.
Maccabi led 28-19 at the end of the first quarter, made a 30-13 run un the second and at half time had a 58-32 lead. The margin of 26 pts remained until the end, for the 18th consrcutive win for the team.
The players who did not play at all oronly a few minutes vs TAU, were the dominant players vs Split. David Bluthenthal had 18 pts in 67% FG, 6 rbds & 2 assist * Quincy Lewis scored 18 pts and added 2 assists & 2 rbds.
