After a one year break Anthony Parker is back in Tel Aviv, The US player that won the Suproleague Championship with Maccabi in Paris 2001 and played in Rome last season, landed this afternoon at Ben Gurion Airport with his wife Tamaris and son Alonso. “I feel that I have come back home and look forward to another great season with Maccabi”.
Parker is the first of the foreign players to arrive for the new season. Nikola Vujcic is due tomorrow (Monday) and Maceo Baston will arrive on Wednesday. The first unofficial practice session will be held Thursday. The official training will start next Tuesday, September 9th.
