Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv & the Lithuania national team player Sarunas Jasikevicius, has been crowned Lithuania’s Sportsman of Year for 2003 by the Lithuanian Olympic Committee.
The crowning ceremony will be held on Friday, December 19th in Vilnus. The club’s management is making all eforts to enable Sarunas to attend the cermony after the Euroleague game in Siena.
We take pride in our player Sarunas and congratulate him on being awarded the title which he certainly deserves.
