Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv will play tomorrow (Thursday, 20:40) in Kaunas, its second game in the “Top 16” of the Euroleague vs Zalgiris.
This will be the third meeting between the teams this season. Maccabi won twice:91-87 in Kaunas & 92-83 in the NOKIA Arena. Both teams won last week on the road: Maccabi in Valencia & Zalgiris in Istanbul vs Ulker. Arvydas Sabonis, the MVP of the Regular Season, has recovered from an injury and will play.
Ulker sufferd its second home defeat, 77-81 vs Pamesa. The Turke had a 19 pts lead but the Spaniards ran 25-1 in the second half on their way to a victory.
