Pamesa Valencia did not show up for game 4 in the Top 16 of the Euroleague vs Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv in spite of the Euroleague desicion that the game should be played at the NOKIA Arena in Tel Aviv.
Now we are awaiting the decision of the Disciplinary Judge Mr. Jose Manuel Meirim who will dtermine the comsequences of Pamesa’s absence. According to Euloeague Rules, the no show will result in a technical loss to Pamesa by 0-20 as well as other disiciplinary measures to be decided by the Judge. It is not known yet when the decision will be announced.
In ths econd game in Group G played in Kaunas, Zalgiris beat Ulker Istanbul 95-72. Leading scorers for Zalgiris: Lavrinovic 17, Salenga 15, Sabonis 14 pts, 12 rbds, 5 ass. For Ulker, who played without Rentzias. Kutluay & Erdogan: Naumoski 17, Blair 11.
