The draw for the 2004/05 Regular Season of the Euroleague, will be held on Sunday. July 09 at 11:00 AM in Moscow. Maccabi TA will be represented by Chairman of the Board Shimon Mizrahi, Vice Chairman David Federman & General Manager Ami Eshel.
Euroleague published today the Final Ranking for the 2003/04 season. Maccabi TA tops the list ahead of Skipper Bologna & CSKA Moscow.
There teams have been seeded at the top of the three Regular Season Groups. The other 21 teams have been divided into seven levels and will be drawn respectively.
A new phase will be added this season with the introduction of the quarter finals playoff between the “Top 16” and the Final Four. The top teams of each of the four “Top 16” groups will play a best of three series vs second ranked teams. The winner will qualify for the Final Four to be held in Moscow on May 6-8, 2005.
The first round games of the Regular Season will be held on November 4-5, 2004.
