The Israel National Team beat Poland 98-72 in Raanana in the first of three preparation games for the European Championship Semi Final games tobe played next month.
The Maaccabi Elite Tel Aviv players scored 44 points: Tal Burstein & Yotam Halperin 15 each & Yaniv Green 14.
The second game will be played tomorrow, Friday in Raanana (17:00).
In Athens, another Maccabi player Sarunas Jasikevicius, led Lithuania to a great 98-76 win over Greece in the Olympic Tournament. He scored 9 pts and had 8 assists and 3 steals. This was Lithuania’s third win and their next game will be on Saturday night vs the USA.
