Anthony Parker has been awarded the 2004/05 Euroleague MVp. Parker amassed 76 pts in a poll in which 30 journalist from all over Europe took part and 19 pf them put him on top. This is more than double the points of second place David Andersen (CSKA). Parker won five weekly MVP awards and was the first monthly MVP in November.His averages for the season: 18.4 pts, 58% for2 pts, 48% for 3 pts, 86% in FT, 5.4 rbds, 3.5 ass, 2.0 steals.
Parker and two other Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv players Nikola Vujcic & Sarunas Jasikevicius have been elected for the 2004/05 All Euroleague First and Second Team.
The Awards Ceremony will be held at the Euroleague Official Dinner on May 7 in Moscow.
The other players nominated for the All Euroleague teams are: Jaka Lakovic (Panathinaikos), Marcus Brown (CSKA), Arvydas Maciauskas (TAU), Charles Smith (Scavolini), Tanoka Beard (Zalgiris), Dave Andersen (CSKA), Luis Scola (TAU).
