Tal Burstein has been nominated Captain of the Israrel National Team that will take part in the Additional Qualifying Round of Eurobasket 2005. He is continuing a llong line of Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv players who lately captained the Natonal Team: Yoav Saffar, Gur Shelef, Nadav Henefeld & Doron Jamchy.
Two other Maccabi players, Gur Shelef & Yaniv Green, have been called up by head coach David Blatt to the squad which will start preparations on July 3rd.
Yotam Halperin will play for the Israeli Team in the U21 World Championship which will be held in Argentina from August 5th.
