Although Israel was ranked only 10th in the U.21 World Championship in Argentina, Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv player Yotam Halperin won two personal awards.
Yotam was top scorer of the championship with an average of 23.5 pts ahead of Vasileiadis (Greece) 20.9 and Israeli Lior Eliyahu 18.2.
Halperin was elected to the All-Star Five together with the MVP Seibutis from Lithuania, the Greeks Vasileiadis & Mavrokefalidis & Canadian Kendall.
