The Israel National Team lost 61-67 to Greece and has not made the quarter finals of the European Championship in Belgrade. After a terrible first half (25-14 to Greece) Israel made a great comeback in the second half but could not prevent a Greek win. In the quarter finals Greece will play Russia.

Nikola Vujcic scored 16 pts & grabbed 4 rbds in Croatia 74-66 win over Italy. In the quarter finals Croatia will play Spain. The hosts Serbia-Montenegro were surprisingly beaten 71-74 by France who will now play Lithuania. Slovenia will meet Germany.
