At the age of 62. For many years was the head of the Youth Section of Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Maccabi Tel Aviv BC announces with deep sorrow the death of Igal Shatski at the age 0f 62. Shatski played for Macccbbi Juniors at the age of 15 and had been with the club ever since. For many years he was the head of the Youth Section. He was also the liaison officer with all international referees who came to Tel Aviv for European games. Shatski was also team manager of several National Teams especially the u.20 team which won the silver medal at the European Championship in Macedonia in 2000. The funeral will be held today, Sunday Frbruary 5, 2006 at 14:00 at the Kiryat Shaul Cemetery.,
