After three consecutive defeats, the Israel National Team recorded its second win in the for the European Championship qualifiers, 83-70 in a home game played in Sofia, Bulgaria. An excellent game for Yaniv Green who played 28 minutes, scored 12 pts, pulled down 13 rbds, made 3 blocked shots & 3 steals. Top scorer was Yotam Halperin with 21 pts in 64% FG (4-7 for three), plus 6 rbds & 2 stls. Jamie Arnold scored 13 pts (7-7 in FT) & pulled down 5 rbds. Sharon Shason scored 6 pts & dished out 3 assists. Israel’s final game will be played on Saturday in Portugal.
