The 27-year-old swingman has helped Maccabi to five Final Fours and three European championships in his seven years at the club, but faced a new challenge this year – injury. After tearing his Achilles tendon in last season’s Israeli League title game, Burstein underwent surgery in the off-season and missed the start of this campaign. Now he’s back in yellow-and-blue and ready to try and lead Maccabi to the promised land once more. Burstein has agreed to take questions from Euroleague fans about his injury, his return to action and anything else.
