Sharon Drucker informed Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv that he will be coaching Aris Saloniki in the coming season, 2010 – 2011.
Maccabi’s management thanks Drucker for his two years of service to the club as assistant coach.
Drucker was a valued member of the professional staff for the past two years.
Sharon is one of the best and most valued Israeli coaches, and he helped us a great deal with his talent and extensive knowledge of Israeli and European basketball.
We wish him the best of luck with his new team in Greece, from the bottom of our hearts.
Sharon Drucker said today (Saturday): “From the moment I started working with Maccabi Tel Aviv I felt at home in the club.
I was welcomed and blended into the Maccabi Tel Aviv family quickly and with open hearts; it was a warm, wonderful feeling – the management, the staff, the players and of course the wonderful fans.
I want to thank everyone for the past two years.
Today I am leaving a family, and I hope to return one day.
I wish Maccabi lots of success in the future and am keeping my fingers crossed.
