Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv has inked point guard Jeremy Pargo (24, 1.88 meters) for one season. Blatt: “He’s a very talented guard, a proven winner, and a young player who keeps getting better every day.”

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv has inked American point guard Jeremy Pargo for one season.
Pargo (age 24, 1.88 meters), is an extremely agile and versatile point guard, a superb athlete who loves to attack the basket and creates scoring opportunities for himself and others, and who is tough and can dominate the game.
Jeremy, who is the younger brother of NBA point guard Jannero Pargo, is a graduate of Gonzaga University.
In his last season there (2008 – 2009) Pargo finished with averages of 10.2 points, 4.9 assists, and 3.4 rebounds.
He was named the West Coast Conference’s Player of the Year in 2008, and in 2009 was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated for the March Madness issue.
Last season Pargo played with Hapoel Gilboa/Galil, leading the team to the Israeli championship with averages of 14.1 points, 4.5 assists, and 2.9 rebounds. His best game of the season came in Malha Arena in a game against Hapoel Jerusalem, where he scored 36 points and made 5 assists.
In the final of the Final Four last season he scored 15 points against Maccabi.
Pargo spent this past summer playing in the NBA Summer League, first for the Charlotte Bobcats and later for the Minnesota Timberwolves, finishing the season with averages of 8.3 points and 4.6 assists in an average of 25 minutes per game.
