Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s talented guard Chuck Eidson has been named Euroleague MVP for the month of November after leading all contenders with a performance index average per game of 18.7.

The Euroleague MVP for the month of November is none other than Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s own Chuck Eidson, who led Maccabi to a 4 – 0 record this month.
His averages are certainly impressive: 12.8 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals per game.
Six weeks into the season, Chuck leads the overall performance index with 18.7 index points per game, and in steals (3.2 per game).
He is ranked fourth in the league in assists with 4.7 per game, and in three-point shooting percentage with 53.3%.
Eidson has been chosen Euroleague MVP of the Week twice, in Week 1 this season, and in Week 9 last season; in both cases he was playing for Maccabi.
This is the first time the talented guard has been named Euroleague MVP of the Month.
During the 2008 – 2009 season, he was chosen MVP of the Eurocup when he led Rytas Vilna to a Eurocup title.
Eidson’s best performance in the month of November came in the game against Asseco Prokom Gdynia in Nokia Arena, when he scored 20 points, stole the ball 5 times, and pulled down 4 rebounds.
In the Euroleague, Eidson leads Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv in the overall index, as well as in points, steals, and three-point shooting percentage.
Head coach David Blatt had this reaction: “Chuck is a wonderful player for us on both ends of the court and contributes to Maccabi in many aspects; I’m happy that people see that.
He definitely deserves this honor.”
