Prior to Thursday night’s game against Real Madrid, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv will hold the opening ceremony for the new Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Hall of Fame. Fans are invited to come early and enjoy the ceremony.

As announced previously, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv has declared this to be the “season of glory” for the club, since 2012 will see the opening of the Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Hall of Fame. The Hall will feature slices of the club’s long and exciting history captured on film, in exhibits, players’ jerseys, championship cups and much, much more.
Throughout the season, before every home Euroleague game, the unforgettable players, coaches, staff members and other officials who have been part of Maccabi Tel Aviv throughout its existence and who have helped make the club what it is today will be honored. This coming Thursday, before the game against Real Madrid, that tradition will begin with a special ceremony honoring the greatest team captains in the history of the club.
