Maccabi Tel Aviv ended Ironi Nahariya’s perfect start to the season at Nokia Arena, winning 87-73. Maccabi’s record is 5-0 and the champion stayed the only unbeaten team in the Israeli Superleague. Nikola Vujcic almost recorded his second triple-double this week after contributing 16 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Derrick Sharp was Maccabi’s top scorer with 17 points. Nahariya led 45-44 at halftime, but a great defense by Maccabi in the third quarter gave her a big lead. None of Maccabi players played 30 minutes, 5 of them reached double figures. Raviv Limonad led Nahariya with 17 points.
