On the eve of the Euroleague break Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv won its third game of the season, 107-86 over Buducnost Podgorica.
Maccabi led 31-18 at the end of the first quarter, increased its lead to 53-28 and 55-37 at half time. Later Maccabi players lost concentration thus enabling the Yugoslavs to close the gap to 69-61. Tal Burstein came back on court and Maccabi ran 20-00 and finally won by 21 pts.
Burstein topped Maccabi with 22 pts (personal record in the Euroleague), 4 rbds, 4 assists and 3 steals.
All the games on day six in Group B, ended in home wins: TAU Ceramica crushed Zalgiris Kaunas 106-83, Montepaschi Siena beat Olimpija Ljubljana 86-78 and Panathinaikos won 77-65 vs Unicaja Malaga.
