In their first visit to Afula in 14 years, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv took care of business. The yellows beat Hapoel Afula 97-83 on Monday, improving to a 3-1 record in the Israeli league. Oded Kattash and his men will now turn their focus towards Thursday’s trip to Piraeus to face Olympiacos in the EuroLeague.
It was a fast-paced affair in Afula, with the Israeli champs controling the game throughout. All 11 Maccabi players who participated scored at least two points, as Antonius Cleveland finished as the top scorer with 15 points.
