A bad shooting day cost the Yellows heavily and led to a painful loss to the Blancos (65:98). Adams scored 15 points. Kattash’s team finishes the first round of the Euroleague with a 9:8 record
Thirteen years have passed since Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv defeated Real Madrid away, and this evening didn’t alter this stat, unfortunately. In one of their worst shooting days this season, the Yellows fell to the Blancos and suffered a heavy loss of 65:98 at Wizink Center.
Oded Kattash’s players missed their first ten attempts from behind the arc and saw their opponents converting 18 out of their 33 tries. Wade Baldwin made his comeback but naturally struggled against Real’s strong defense. Jalen Adams led Maccabi’s scorers with 15 points.
The Yellows will have to shake off this result quickly and hope to initiate another winning streak on Sunday against Hapoel Haifa.
