Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will keep looking for its first away victory in the Euroleague for at least 10 more days. This is the bottom line after the 89:98 defeat the Yellows suffered today at the hands of Bayern Munich in Germany.
Oded Kattash knew he needed players to contribute more due to the absence of Wade Baldwin and Darrun Hilliard and got to witness an incredible performance from Lorenzo Brown (36 points, 7 assists) and significant numbers from Jalen Adams (21 points). On the other hand, no other player really stepped up this evening.
In addition, Maccabi suffered a bad shooting evening and wasn’t strong enough defensively against the talented Bavarians. The Yellows will now return to domestic action and face Hapoel Beer Sheva away on Monday before hosting Valencia on Thursday.
