Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv already trailed by 19 points against Monaco but rallied back for a second Euroleague home win (78:70) after a fantastic comeback in the second half. The Yellows’ record now sits at 2:1 before the meeting with Villeurbanne on Thursday.
Lorenzo Brown, Jarell Martin, and Wade Baldwin (21 points) kept Maccabi in the game following its slow start. Monaco’s lead was cut to four at the beginning of the fourth quarter, and an electric performance by Roman Sorkin and the crowd carried Oded Kattash’s team to an important victory.
