After four consecutive losses in all competitions, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv got back to winning. In a tough game, the yellows toped Hapoel Beer-Sheva 71:64 using a late run in the fourth quarter.
Scottie Wilbekin and Oz Blayzer led the scorers with 16 points each and carried the hosts to a win that may prove very significant as Maccabi faces an incredibly challenging week.
The Israeli champs will meet Fenerbahce on Tuesday in Turkey and come back to Tel Aviv to face Anadolu Efes at Menora Mivtachim Arena.
