In their first Euroleague game in 2022, the Yellows looked great and ended the negative streak with an 84:69 victory over the Greeks. Zizic led the scorers with 23 points
A streak of 8 losses in a row came to an end today for Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv. The yellows that played their last Euroleague game in December defeated Olympiacos 84:69 at home and got small revenge over the Greeks.
After a close first half (40:38), Maccabi played great defense in the second half and created a comfortable lead that lasted until the last buzzer. Giannis Sfairopoulos can be very happy with the contribution of Ante Zizic, who led the scorers with 23 points.
With this win, Maccabi now holds an 8:11 record in the competition, looking forward to a very busy week: In seven days, the yellows will face Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Alba Berlin, Fenerbahce, and Hapoel Holon.
