Maccabi Playtika Tel-Aviv achieved a second Euroleague win in a row, 87:78 over Alba Berlin at home. Five players scored in double figures to seal a well-deserved victory that keeps the Yellows in playoff contention.
Maccabi suffered a tough loss to Hapoel in the Tel-Aviv derby earlier this week, but that just added motivation to the team that was led by Scottie Wilbekin (18 points). Maccabi also recorded a historic achievement, finishing the game with only three turnovers.
The Israeli champions now hold a 9:11 record in the Euroleague before returning to the domestic league to meet Hapoel Holon (Saturday).
