Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, held their final practice before the derby against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Jeremy Pargo: “I came in and I’m trying to fit in with the guys and to learn from them”
“I know that our fans that to me are the best fans, are feeling our situation and they will help us even more than usual”, coach Spahija added. “I know how important it is for them to win the derby, but it’s also important to us to get our confidence back and to do the right things for the club”.
“It’s like winning any other game, you need to play hard and in the right way to get the win, regardless of who you’re playing against”, said Jeremy Pargo, who also added. “I came in and I’m trying to fit in with the guys and to learn from them”.
“This is only my second practice with the team, so it’s going to take me some time to get to know my teammates, a new system and a playing hard style of game; I love what the guys are capable of doing and just like in any other team you have to do it from the beginning every game”.
“The goal is to win for us and of course for our fans, we hope to give a good show and to give them a good game”, said Michael Roll. “We will try to limit them (i.e. Hapoel Tel Aviv) and to play defense better”.
“It doesn’t matter how many players we have, we’re trying to get better every day, Jeremy is and addition and we welcome him into the team, I hope that we’ll go out there and give all that we got. If we do that things will be great”.
