Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv has added two former members of the club’s youth division, Arad Harari and Ben Altit, to the roster. Guard Marcus Relphorde will take part in preseason practices owing to some players taking part in the European Championships.

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s 2013-14 roster will include two young players, Arad Harari and Ben Altit – both graduates of Maccabi’s youth division.
Harari (19, 6’4”), who plays guard, was a standout amongst his peers in Maccabi’s youth division. In 2011-12, his final season there, he also played in four Israeli League games with the pro team. Last season, Harari attended the Canarias Basketball Academy on a one year development program.
Ben Altit (20, 6’8”) is a power forward who was one of the top players in Maccabi’s youth division. He went on to play for the Bryant University Bulldogs for one season, returning to Israel in order to enlist in the IDF. Last season, Altit played for Bnei Herzliya.
In accordance with newly-passed regulations for the Israeli Winner Sal League, Harari and Altit will play for both Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv and for Elizur Ramle of the National (Second) League.
American guard-forward Marcus Relphorde (25, 6’6”) will be joining Maccabi for preseason practices owing to the absence of several Maccabi players who are taking part in the European Championships in Slovenia with various national teams.
