Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv’s forward, Devin Smith, is back in Israel for his third straight season with the club. “The goal, like always, is to work hard every day.”

Devin Smith arrived in Israel on Tuesday ahead of preseason practices, which begin on Sunday. “This is where I wanted to be,” said Smith. “I’m excited and happy to be a part of Maccabi Tel Aviv. I love this place.” When asked for his thoughts on the coming season, Smith said, “We want to win every game. Our goal is to get stronger as a team during the preseason and to take back the championship at the end of it. That’s what Maccabi is all about.”
“We also want to succeed in the Euroleague, but we have to get back the championship. All we can do is work with our people and keep moving forward as a team. I’m looking forward to working with Sofo. Sometimes you have to give him a little push, but when he works hard, he’s really something special.”
