Taking advantage of a day off, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv gave back to the community, visiting the factory of Klil, an aluminum manufacturer that sponsors children with PDD Syndrome from the Ofek School, the local scout troop, and students learning aluminum construction.

Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv toured the Klil aluminum factory in Karmiel in northern Israel, visiting their production line and showroom. During the tour, the general manager of the factory, Ariyeh (“Richie”) Rictman explained the manufacturing process for the aluminum and the products the company produces. Richie also told the team: “Just like you are number one in the nation in sports, Klil is trying to become the leader in aluminum windows and doors in Israel.”
Following the tour, the team – bolstered by Nikola Vuj?i? and Guy Goodes – took part in a shooting contest against the basketball stars of the Klil factory (the winner received court-side seats at a game of his choosing) and ate lunch in the employee’s lunchroom.
At end of the day, the team met kids with PDD Syndrome from the Ofek School in Karmiel, with scouts from the local troop, and with students studying aluminum construction, all of whom are sponsored by the factory.
