The CaféCafé Group will be granting secondary sponsorship to the Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club. The long-term sponsorship is estimated at 2 million NIS per year. As part of the arrangement, the Café Café logo will appear on the backs of the players’ jerseys.

Ronen Nimni, owner of the CaféCafé Group, said, “As the largest, and leading, chain of coffeehouses and restaurants in Israel, we decided to choose the leading and most successful basketball club in Israel and Europe, which shares our values of excellence, Israeli-ness, and leadership as well as the special spirit that characterizes the club and its fans.”

This is the fourth straight year that the Café Café chain has made the list of Superbrands, and it is its seventh straight year on the Globes Dun’s 100 list of leading brands, on which its ranking as the leading coffeehouse chain in Israel, with over 145 branches, is based.

The CaféCafé Group owns seven coffeehouse and restaurant chains nationwide: the Café Café chain, the coffeehouse/bakery chain Lehem Erez, the quality pasta chain Laboratorio di Pasta, the kosher meat chain Lehem Basar, the health-conscious coffeehouse chain Fresh Kitchen, the quality sandwich chain Ruben’s, and the first Mexican-American chain in Israel, Donkey.
