Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv have added a physical and athletic presence to their roster. Joe Alexander (29, 6’7) rejoined the team for a second term. Alexander who played for Maccabi during the 2014/15 season signed a one year contract, with a team option for a second year.
Alexander spent 2015/16 in Italy, playing for Dinamo Sessari, and posted good numbers, both in the very competitive Seria A (12.5 PPG, 4.4 RPG) and in the Euroleague (10.9 PPG, 4.9 RPG).
“When I heard there might be an option to come back to Maccabi, it was too good to be true”, said Alexander, “it’s like a dream come true for me. Maccabi is such a great and unique club, with a rich history and amazing fans. I feel much more accustomed to the European style of play and look forward to having a great season”.
