Victor Rudd landed in Israel last night, passed his physical this morning and will join the team in practice later this week. The American forward (25, 6’8) talked about what he expects from his debut season: “I’m excited to finally be here”.

“I played against Maccabi last season and the fans made a strong impression on me. Their numbers and the level of support was amazing. I’ve yet to play in front of a large crowd on a regular basis and that’s something I’m really looking forward to”.

Rudd was optimistic about the team’s chances to win titles this year: “With the players that were brought in, and the players that remained from last season, we have a great shot at winning titles. This team has players that know how to win trophies and I look forward to learning from them”.

“I believe this team will be built on defense and rebounding and I’ll do what I have to do to fit in. I’ll sweat as much as I need to gain minutes. We have players that can score – Goudelock, Sonny and Seeley. I’ll try to help them as much as I can”.
