Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv returned to Israel on Friday, after the heart-breaking loss 97:99 in Milan. The good news for Erez Edelstein and his players is that next week will bring two home games – against Hapoel Eilat and Real Madrid.
“It’s a process – building a team”, said Coach Erez Edelstein, “We had good and bad games so far. Our defense wasn’t up to par during the two official games we played and that’s something that we need to get better at. I know no way to do that other than hard work and persistence”.
Edelstein spoke of the home premier next week, against Eilat: “We played 11 games thus far and only 1 was at home. We need to get the confidence and enthusiasm our crowd can give us. We need to feel at home”.
