Maccabi Fox Tel Aviv made a move to fill the void in the coaching staff created after the departure of Erez Edelstein. American Tim Fanning was appointed 2nd assistant coach and will work alongside Rami Hadar and Lior Liubin.
Fanning is 32 years old. His previous teams include Delaware from the NBA D-league where he served as assistant coach and New Zealand’s Nelson Giants where he served as head coach. He was also head of scouting and player development from New Zealand’s national team.
Fanning will be in charge of scouting and advanced statistical analysis while also providing personal training services for the players.
